TfL makes £80 million of funding available to boroughs to help make streets safer and improve bus journey times

Transport for London is making up to £80.4 million of funding available to boroughs, over the next three years to improve road safety through various projects. These include reducing speeds and tackling high-risk areas such as dangerous roads and junctions. There’s also a significant focus on making bus travel more attractive, with £30 million allocated to deliver transformational bus infrastructure and operational improvements. Boroughs are key partners in achieving the Mayor’s Vision Zero goal of eliminating death and serious injury from the transport network. They play a crucial role in transforming local areas, ensuring safety for all road users and supporting active travel.
